Use your imagination!

i” is equal to the square root of -1, but it’s considered an imaginary number since it is impossible to calculate the square root of a negative number.

For example the square root of -4 would be 2i.
Since i is the square root of -1 that also means i^2 is -1, i^3 is -i, and i^4 is 1.
